Parallel Play
September 5 through October 19, 2024
Anonymous Society is excited to present Parallel Play, a captivating two-woman art show featuring the works of Linda Colletta and Jennifer Caviola. Running from September 5 through October 19, 2024, this exhibition highlights the dynamic interplay between the artists’ distinct yet complementary styles, united by their innovative use of color and grid structures.

Parallel Play delves into the artists’ shared exploration of abstract space through the medium of paint. Both Colletta and Caviola masterfully layer paint to build rich, textured surfaces, which they then deconstruct and develop into striking geometric compositions. Colletta’s intricate grid-based patterns reveal deep, textural complexity, while Caviola’s bold geometric designs present a crisp, impactful clarity. Their parallel approaches—marked by skillful manipulation of color and form—create a dynamic visual conversation that invites viewers to engage with their individual and collective artistic expressions.
